Afternoon Outlook: Worth a look as onshore flow stays relatively manageable from the SW this afternoon. Swell direction has shifted S-SSW with size head high for many zones, top spots overhead+ at times. Need some structure to find a decent corner. Keep in mind the black ball flags are up for most of Newport through the afternoon.
Steady onshore SW/WSW wind through the next few hours then wind will lighten a bit into sundown. Size generally holds.

Find your rip bowl and enjoy. This is the northernmost stretch of HB before you make your way to the Cliffs, and it loves a combo swell and low tide. It is rideable here almost as much as the Pier, though not usually as shapely, and it packs a few feet more size on a long period WNW swell during the winter.
