Surf dips today as swell mix eases, still fun zone. Winds on the lighter side, cleanest in the AM
Happy 4th!
Dawn to 10:00AM: Old SSW swell tapers off, as a little new WNW swell shows, for waves mainly running thigh-stomach-chest high range while best breaks see better sets. Draining negative low tide early AM, then incoming tide push gets an assist rest of the morning, while very light S winds puff up.
Afternoon Outlook: Surf size holds. Winds are light+ SSW onshores. Mid afternoon high tide bogs down tide sensitive breaks.

26th Ave Surf Guide
Situated on the east side of town, 26th Avenue is a playful beachbreak that can get good when the swell’s not too big. its shifting sandbars can offer a nice change of pace from the impacted lineups of the surrounding point waves like Steamer Lane and Pleasure Point, but beach erosion is a concern here. Best on small to medium swells — too much energy and it will close out.
