Surfline’s longest-tenured forecast team member, the enigmatic Chris Borg started working with the late, great Sean Collins in 1984. “Surfline needed a forecaster,” he explains, applying his trademark brevity. Chris has a BS in Atmospheric Science and counts “the swell that knocked down HB Pier” as the most memorable system he’s ever tracked in his 30-plus years in the business.
Chris (monosyllabically) admits that he hates “being wrong” and loves “being right.” He’s one of the smartest, most meticulous creatures we’ve ever known. Chris Borg is basically consistency incarnate.
