North San Diego Forecast

Today

Fun mix of southerly swells. Smaller/cleaner for most of the reefs, bigger/bumpier far N County

Afternoon Outlook: S-SSW swell from both Elida (mid period) and the Southern Hemisphere (long period) for widespread waist-chest high surf, even on the fuller mid afternoon tide. Top spots in the far north county are overhead on sets.

Beachbreaks pretty lined up and also have more onshore W wind bump through the afternoon. Reefs cleaner and generally better shape, also likely to improve a bit heading into the evening with the lowe tide.
