Trending down for most of the region but the summer standouts keep the lights on. Cleanest early.
Dawn to 10am: Primary SSW swell and some smaller NW windswell to start the weekend. Size for average breaks dips below waist high, while best summer breaks occasionally see chest high. Shape isn't as broken up for the beachbreaks and the spots with structure (reefs/piers/jetties) get the best shape. Light S wind expected through the earlier morning, some texture by mid-AM.
Afternoon Outlook: Light to moderate SW wind in the afternoon lightens evening.

One of the most popular beachbreaks in San Diego, the sandbars that form at La Jolla Shores and on either side of Scripps Pier have qualities that augment the beaches to the south. This stretch of beach isn't quite as tide-sensitive as Mission Beach or Pacific Beach, which makes it the overflow spot for the masses.
