Happy 4th!
Dawn to 10am: Holding SSW swell keeps plenty of waist-chest high surf in the water as better spots from West Newport to the HB Pier go shoulder-head high+. The mid-AM tide push is the sweet spot, after the tide fills in and before afternoon onshores pick up. A little less NW windswell to work, so structured spots are your best bet for a decent corner -- but the beachbreaks aren't a complete write-off.
Afternoon Outlook: Moderate onshore WNW wind for a bumpier afternoon.
