Today

Fading but still punchy surf as swell eases. Manageable early PM onshores get lumpier mid-PM.

Afternoon Outlook: Slow fading SSW swell, along with some lingering NW swell, is still good for shoulder high to a foot overhead waves at spots from Manhattan northward in the morning, while areas further south in the bay are mainly around waist high.

Surf will gradually dip during the back half of the day at exposures as the SSW swell tapers off. Low-end SW onshores for the afternoon keep the region in decent conditions.
