Smaller but still fun waves on tap today with fading swell. Light winds for the morning.

Dawn-10AM: Old SSW swell, along with a little lingering NW swell, has surf mainly running waist to shoulder high for spots from Manhattan north, as breaks further south in the bay top out under waist high. Clean start, light westerly onshore texture picks up through the morning.

Afternoon Outlook: Modest to fun size hangs on this afternoon, onshores rise to a low-end moderate sea breeze for manageably lumpy conditions.

Despite its many personalities, El Porto is not particularly known for outstanding wave quality. It is, however, a NW swell magnet and it's almost always bigger than any other spot in the South Bay during the winter months.
