Nice size Southern Hemi holds steady. Light onshores & mostly clean conditions in town.
Afternoon Outlook: Nice shot of SSW Southern Hemi is holding steadily this afternoon. There's a little NW windswell in the mix but it isn't doing much on its own. Size is in the shoulder high to overhead range at good exposures, while best summertime breaks continue to get up to a couple feet overhead on occasion. Favorable tide push mid-afternoon before things get a bit high/boggy late.
Onshores should stay fairly light for the rest of the day.

Capitola Surf Guide
A soft, gentle, right-hand reef/point that is popular with beginners and longboarders, Capitola is a staple of the Santa Cruz surf scene, and has the crowds to prove it (especially in summer). There is also a shorter, slightly more powerful left off the back of the right.
