Today

Weak SSW swell in the knee-thigh high range with lighter WSW winds early. OK for the floaty boards.

Dawn to Midday: Southerly swell and rideable surf with a window of favorable/decent conditions at E facers this morning. It is shorter period and on the weaker end of the spectrum, but something to do with the big boards if you just want to get wet. Winds trend more SSW/SW through the morning, adding more texture.

Afternoon Outlook: SW/SSW winds develop and the surf eases. If you really want to find something to ride on a longboard you still could, it just won't be as good as the morning.

As with most Rhode Island spots, northerly winds are preferred here (offshore). Read more
