Surf nudges up slightly but remains very small. Strong trades.

Marginally better than the previous couple days but that's not saying much. Tradeswell should pusle slightly and we'll also see some very small, long period W swell from Typhoon Bavi.

Most breaks hang around knee high or below, the most rideable spots will likely be the breaks that pick up some of the tradeswell trickling in.

Town is a better option - far from pumping but kinda fun off inconsistent SW swell from a Tasman storm.

The larger it gets, the more ferocious Haleiwa becomes, and delivering a workout capable of kicking the crap out of anyone, no matter how accomplished. The main break at Haleiwa is a rough, V-shaped reef that forms a peak 300 yards off the beach and bowls as a hard right in a series of thick sections, ending in a closeout known as Toilet Bowl.
