Minor NW energy pulses up some - small-wave reefs have occasional rideable waves at best

Still very small, but a little bit more push compared to the last couple days. Minor NW energy bumps up a bit more through the day - mostly knee-thigh high at the better small-wave reefs, occasionally up to waist high. The mix of the NW and a touch of tradeswell will help the best combo spots.

Surf is easing in Town but still pumping if you want quite a bit more juice and good/clean conditions.

Waimea Bay Surf Guide

Waimea's outer waters are very deep and clear of any outer reefs or shoals. As a result, much of the energy of long period swells is refracted away from the Bay by the flanking outer reefs at Alligators and Log Cabins, leaving Waimea in a bit of a swell void. This can make the place appear deceptively calm during the early stages of a big swell, compared to some of the other nearby spots.
