Today

Clean start, new long period SW swell on the rise. Still some leftover tropical swell in the mix.

Dawn to 10am: New long-period SW Southern Hemi swell is flexing on the local buoys this morning as leftover tropical swell mixes in. Many spots running waist-chest high, as better exposures Manhattan North are shoulder-head high+. Lully on the SW sets but potent when they show. Still enough NW windswell in the mix for occ. corners. Light morning winds.

Afternoon Outlook: Light to low-end moderate WSW wind in the afternoon. Some texture but not bad for an afternoon in the South Bay.

Check out Signals for a twice weekly (Mon and Thu nights) East Pacific tropics outlook.
