Surf up a notch off peaking swell. Winds staying on the lighter side, best in the morning.
Dawn to 10:00AM: Nice size mix of SSW/SW swell tops out, putting good spots in chest to head high waves, while standouts go a foot+ overhead. Light/variable morning winds.
PM Outlook: Surf size holds. Light+ SSW afternoon onshores. Late afternoon/evening high tide slows tide sensitive spots.

Capitola Surf Guide
A soft, gentle, right-hand reef/point that is popular with beginners and longboarders, Capitola is a staple of the Santa Cruz surf scene, and has the crowds to prove it (especially in summer). There is also a shorter, slightly more powerful left off the back of the right.
