Weak wind-swell surf on the south coast just about Ok for novices/groms - cleanest waves late
Dawn-to-Midday: not a great look at first light as onshore W/WNW wind is fairly breezy. Tiny wind-swell will be just about Ok for novices as the tide pushes late morning as the wind starts ease.
Afternoon Outlook: barely any wind-swell leftover by sundown so if you are getting the foamy in don't leave it too late. Conditions smooth out late in the day as NW/NNW wind slowly eases.

This huge stretch of sandy beach joins up with East Wittering and is more in the swell shadow of the Isle of Wight. Needs a really big swell to wrap in here, and is popular with windsurfers and kitesurfers for a reason. However, it can offer some long, rolling, wind swell waves. Better at low tides.
