Biggest surf of the working week on the south coast - fairly strong onshore wind with it

Dawn-to-Midday: 4-6ft wind-swell surf at first light on the south coast along with gusty onshore W/WSW wind not a great look. Surf eases a touch through low-tide this morning which might make things a little easier, if you don't mid the wind that is.

Afternoon Outlook: swell energy holds this afternoon/evening and it will still be windy- lightest wind late as the tide drops back to low. If you want the size it's maybe worth making the most of this summer wind-swell.

Bracklesham Bay Surf Guide

A continuation of the beach from East Wittering, with similar characteristics so usually its all about the windswell. Better on low tides as high has shingle banks and groynes. Picks up slightly more swell as less blocked by Isle of Wight. Read more
