Today

Surf levels off today with a mix of NW & SSW swell. Afternoon onshores staying manageable.

Afternoon Outlook: Old SSW swell and modest NW swell mix mid day for peaky waist-chest high zone surf at many breaks, as best combo breaks see better sets. A new round of long-period SSW Southern Hemi slowly rises over the afternoon for chest-shoulder-head high waves at focal points, showing largest late. Low-end moderate W-WNW onshores most of the afternoon.

Not all south swells are created equal. From Bombing Teahupo'o to Massive Wedge, watch the science behind the South Pacific's most remarkable run in decades: https://bit.ly/4xS68hZ
