Today

Winding down but still pretty fun, especially on the AM tide push. A little mid-AM crumble.

Dawn to 10am: SSW swell is down a notch from late Thu, in the waist occ. chest high range for average zones. Better breaks along the west Newport-HB Pier stretch are shoulder-head high with some overhead waves in the mix. Shape still favors structured spots, but there should be a few more sections at the beachbreaks as the swell period drops. Early window is mostly clean, with some SE wind crumble expected by mid-AM.

Afternoon Outlook: Lumpy afternoon conditions as W onshores pick up.
