Lully SSW swell tops out. Semi clean morning tide push after a drained out start.
Dawn-10am: Decent size all day with waist-chest high surf running for average zones. Better breaks get to head-high with standouts larger at times. Nothing crazy by recent standards, and the downside is it'll be a wait on the better sets and shape is walled. A little drained for the dawn patrol, shape improves on the tide push and wind looks reasonably favorable for the mid-AM window -- not glassy but not blown out.
Afternoon Outlook: Lumpy PM with moderate to breezy westerly onshores.

Whatever the case, there are still classic California days to be had up and down the stretch. Just wake up early one morning and if it's a peaky swell with Santa Ana winds, you'll side with the diehards. Read more
