Mornington Peninsula - Phillip Island Forecast

Anthony Spinks •

Today

Leftover swell and north winds, outer reefs and open beaches the places to watch

Leftover swell and a good size on outer reefs and open beaches, with head to OH surf, and a wait for these sets. Very small for the sheltered breaks, plus the AM high tide not doing any favours there.

North tending wind and this again lends itself to these zones. What still looks like the quality kicker is wind speeds, with a gusty trend through the day and this could well challenge quality on the open beaches.
