Pretty solid head high S/SSW swell with SW winds most of the day and poor conditions.
Afternoon Outlook: Surf has built to around head+ high or so at lunch. SW winds continue adding texture for the afternoon. It does not look like conditions will improve before dark, but this is still worth watching for some chunky good sized peaks. Biggest surf we have seen in a while.

People from the center of Long Island have a straight shot to Moses, whose south facing direction makes it turn on with the slightest hint of summer swell. The consistent beachbreak peaks can be quite good, but you have to stay on top of the sandbars as they are constantly shifting.
