Ventura Forecast

Matt Kibby •

Today

Tough conditions across Ventura. Sheltered points have mangable lump, open points/beachbreaks rough

Afternoon Outlook: SW Southern Hemi holds, old SSW tropical swell fades, a little nudge in NW windswell joins in, and some SSE Fausto swell starts to sneak in. That helps shape at the beachbreaks. Widespread waves are waist-stomach high, while best exposures go shoulder high.

The fresh SSE/S tropical swell mainly on the rise late day. Breezy onshore WNW wind though mid-PM. Evening window your best bet for the rest of the day, but keep expectations low.
