Located in the land of golf courses, Coachella music festival and unbearable summer heat, the Palm Springs Surf Club boasts dozens of different waves to choose from -- essentially the chlorinated equivalent of your favorite beachbreak with a consistent short-period swell. It’s not perfect, but it sure is a lot of fun.

What PSSC lacks in length of ride and power, it makes up for with spitting barrels on the Slab setting, and endless variation between set waves to keep things interesting. Just like the ocean, no two waves are exactly the same here.

Be sure to pack your favorite light/epoxy shortboard, and wax it with basecoat if surfing in the summer months. Yeah, the water is that warm. But come nighttime, the air temps cool off quick. So keep a wetsuit top or spring suit on the pool deck if you run cold.

Pricing: Currently $212USD for public sessions and $3,000USD per hour for private sessions (up to 24 surfers on a booking, 12 surfers max in the water at a time).
