Dawn-to-Midday: small waves for the floatier boards through the morning hours with an onshore breeze adding a bump to the conditions. Not howling windy and plenty of surf for novices/surf schools.

Afternoon Outlook: no real changes into the afternoon/evening. 2-3ft surf for the bigger boards with onshore breeze. The wind a little more noticeable through the warmest part of the day, easing down a touch late.

Widemouth Bay Surf Guide

Widemouth Bay is essentially two stretches of sand that become one long beach as the tide drops out. Black Rock is a large patch of reef on the southern end and Camel Rock is a large patch of reef to the north. Both can produce quality waves, with long lefts and rights. Read more
