The Hoek Surf Report & Forecast

The Hoek is a great little barreling peak where many Cape Town surfers learned to pull in. Tucked away in the corner of Noordhoek Beach, the setup is protected by the howling summer southeast winds and has a nice bounce off the rocks that helps form the barreling right-hand wedge.

The spot requires full commitment when paddling for a wave as southeast winds ensure it is usually howling offshore and stands up very quick. The Hoek is only surfable on the low tide and the lower the better.... Read more
