Solid surf as new SSW swell fills in. Open breaks cleaning up as winds trend E / SE.
Open coast going into the 2x OH range as new SSW swell fills in - bigger later in the day. Sheltered southern corners more manageable and significantly smaller with the swell direction - more like head high.
Cleaning up as winds go light E to SE. Maybe still a bit of wobble and not perfect at exposures though.

This place was named before people started riding crazy barrels like Teahupo’o or even G-Land, so its moniker seems kind of quaint these days. It’s a pit, for sure, but it’s not heavy by modern standards. Having said that, though, you wouldn't want to paddle out unless you were of at least intermediate ability.
