Afternoon Outlook: Continued mix of WNW swell and SSW swell is joined by some selective SSW swell from Elida, for waves mainly running thigh-stomach high at most spots, while best southerly exposures see better sets. Winds turn low-end moderate WNW for the afternoon. Mid afternoon high tide bogs down tide sensitive breaks.

One of the more consistent and shapely of all Central Coast beachbreaks, the Pismo Beach Pier is the hub of South County surfing.
