Surf picking up as mix of reinforcing S swell and new shadowed SW swell arrives. Most size in PM.
Dawn to 10am: Drained out on the negative low tide first thing, then S swell does the heavy lifting for the region, as long period SW swell creeps up, shadowed and inconsistent but helps put a few more corners in the water. Chest-shoulder high+ waves running at many spots while standouts from along the West Newport to HB Pier stretch are overhead. Light SW winds for some texture.
Afternoon Outlook: More size off more swell. Moderate SW winds for a lumpy afternoon.

Peaky sand bars provide short, fast sections for noseriding when small, while hollow corners serve up barrels and bangable sections when the swell fills in. Read more
