Fading swell remains sizeable in open areas. Winds are clean/settled but conditions are raw.
Mid period WSW swell has eased overnight but remains strong on the beaches with size in the well overhead to 2x overhead range for open areas and outer bars. Winds are settled early tending offshore, conditions are a little raw/unruly though. Sheltered corners/reform areas are approachable with the easing swell, it's nothing great right now but the higher tide will be worth a check. Patchy winds may vary a bit tending mostly offshore, we should see this strengthen from the east late in the day.
