Messy north wind swell is still small but gradually building this afternoon.
N-NNW winds have picked up with messy cross-onshore conditions through the region. Short period wind swell is a little bigger than this morning pushing chest high but it's very weak and junky at this stage. This will continue to build into the afternoon but we won't really see anything substantial, maybe shoulder-head high surf. Sheltered spots are the easy option.
