Dawn to Midday: Fun waist-chest high S swell. Winds are westerly with clean condtiions. Take advantage of summertime waves while we have them.
Afternoon Outlook: Winds trend more SW adding some side texture to most breaks. Still very manageable, but not quite as good as the morning window. Similar size surf to the AM, easing just a bit late day.

Margate is fun on a waist- to shoulder-high swell out of the east/northeast or southeast. The city allows surfing on both sides of the pier along with three other beaches that are surf beaches. The pier will hold any swell up to head high. Read more
