Franklin Street Surf Report & Forecast

Franklin Street is essentially a beachbreak that works best on wind swells. A reef off Mead Street breaks on larger groundswells. Both are consistent windswell spots and it's a good idea to look elsewhere during hurricane and winter groundswells. There is also is a long stretch of beach between these two breaks that breaks similarly, but surfing is restricted between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
