Wednesday seeing a slow fade in ENE swell - a few fun waves about. NW offshores for the AM.
The residual ENE swell continues to ease, leaving mostly waist to chest high waves beneath clean offshore wind this morning. Surface quality remains excellent despite less available size, so the exposed beaches are still the best bet. Well worth making the most of before size drops right out.

A dredging right-hand barrel that breaks hard over a shallow rock platform. Dee Why holds a special place in Australian surfing culture. Photography and kneeboard great Peter Crawford made shooting the point his specialty. Also famous for one of Michael Peterson's last surfs. MP saw Simon Anderson on his thruster there in 1981, realized his used-by date had arrived, packed his single fin into his Holden and drove back home to Queensland where he became a recluse.
