South Los Angeles Surf Forecast
Today
Modest size holding on as SSW swell sticks around. Manageable PM texture.
Afternoon Outlook: Knee-waist high surf still running, standouts north of Hermosa see some chest-high waves. Less NW windswell mixing with the Southern Hemi energy so shape's pretty lined up, but there's still be some quick corners/sections to find. Less NW windswell means the southern end of the bay tops out around thigh-high.
Light onshore crumble early PM, more lump mid-PM but still mangeable. Deep high tide bogs the evening window, safest to try and surf by 6pm.
