Nice run of SSW swell on the rise, showing most size back half of the day. Trades hold.
A SW Pacific storm with impressive, satellite-verified seas in the 40-45' range, was spinning out swell recently.
The storm was fairly zonal (best energy aimed from west to east vs a direct shot at Hawaii) but with the size & strength, it will be a good swell for southern shores. Not on the order of the late May/early June swells, but solid, rolling in chest to head high+ waves over the afternoon.
Steady ENE trades for groomed conditions in town, Diamond Head is bumpier.
