What's New

Swell spectra, forecast feedback

Provide feedback directly to our forecast and data science teams (helping improve accuracy moving forward) with forecast feedback and pick the best time to surf your spot with swell spectra.

Forecast feedback

With our forecast feedback prompt on iOS and web, you can let us know how accurate the forecast felt at your spot the last time you surfed there. That info goes to our forecast and data science teams, so they can work on the forecast models and improve accuracy moving forward.

Where to find it: find the feedback prompt at the top of any spot.

Forecasted swell spectra

Like buoy swell spectra, which we released last month, forecasted swell spectra gives a bigger picture of how swell energy is concentrated and dispersed, with an interactive spectra graph for the next 16 days.

Where to find it: Find under Advanced Swell below the surf graph on iOS and at the bottom of every spot page under swell spectra on web.

Available to Premium members, and coming soon to Android.

Favorites improvements

We’ve updated your home screen with a new view that allows you to quickly compare forecasted conditions across all your Favorites.

You can check the surf at different spots at a glance, rather than having to navigate back and forth between forecasts. Filter your Favorites by geographic region, to get even more specific comparisons.

Map updates

Buoys and wind stations are now available on your map view.
Navigate to the Explore tab and toggle between surf spots, wave buoys, and wind stations to see where nearby buoys and weather stations are in relation to surf spots and check the latest readings for up-to-date observations.
