Revel Surf Arizona
Book nowEast of Phoenix in the land-locked state of Arizona, Revel Surf is bringing the ocean to the Southwest. An interesting combo of both a standing wave and a very fun “traveling wave” featured at the park, it’s definitely the latter that’s the draw here. With a restaurant, cliff-diving platforms, and a mini skate park on the property to boot, the fun peak at Revel isn’t the only activity on offer.
The Waves: The Surf Lagoon at Revel offers varying waves to suit your skill level. Level I (Malibu) is a softer, roller for beginners. Level II (Trestles) is a slow but peeling wave for intermediate levels. Level III (V-Land) features performance waves with more speed, size, and power (and tubes), while Level IIII (Private) sessions give you specialty waves like wedges, slabs, airs, and critical sections.
You can rent a variety of good boards and even wetsuits on site, learn to surf from instructors, or book private guided sessions. Public Surf Sessions are 1-hour sessions featuring split peak waves with both “Right” and “Left” breaks, ideal for regular and goofy-footed surfers, allowing you to surf go frontside and backside in a single session. Each surfer normally gets 10–12 waves per session.
Pricing: Members pay $89-$109, while Non-Members pay $119-$139 per 1-hr session. Membership is a one time charge of $1K and gives you session discounts and perks.
