Boa Vista Village Surf Club
Book nowIf an artificial wave like the one you’ve seen at Waco piques your interest more than the machine-like perfection of the Surf Ranch, then Boa Vista’s Brazilian peaks just might be your dream wave. It’s like a better Waco, only thing is—you probably won’t be surfing it anytime soon, as it’s muito exclusive.
A wave pool in a ritzy new Sao Paolo development encouraging an annual membership to access it (running $100K), Boa Vista uses the same Perfectswell tech as Waco, but is twice the scale as Waco, allowing for longer rides and added upgrades to the waves. Basically, 120-160 waist to head-high waves come in per hour, in three-wave sets, between about 1 minute and 20 seconds apart.
Beyond the normal rippable peaks, air sections and tubes that are offered by all PerfectSwell wave pools (with varying skill levels to choose from), it’s the new bigger, longer barrel variations that everyone’s talking about, plus the new Lowers' style wall that ends with a barrel section called the Peel Keg.
Pricing: Currently, Boa Vista is exclusive to members and residents of the luxury condos at Boa Vista Village and not open to the general public. Membership costs approximately. $190,000USD.
