The better day of the weekend to get in for a paddle on the north coast
Dawn-to-Midday: 2-3ft surf at the best breaks on the north coast through the morning with offshore wind and clean conditions. Not big surf but as good as it will look this weekend. Make sure you're in to make the most of it. Great little waves to learn on - logable sets for the most part - just about enough to get a floatier board moving.
Afternoon Outlook: swell energy just about holds into the afternoon/evening. Expect a side-shore N breeze through the warmest part of the day.

This crescent shaped, west facing swaithe of golden sand is the most exposed break on the north coast, vacuuming up small, summer, Atlantic swells and delivering fun waves. By late Autumn, the banks are properly groomed to produce clear, crisp, hollow waves. The southern end close to the car park is more sheltered in bigger swells. Read more
