Afternoon Outlook: Fun sized surf continues, but conditions now a bit more side textured through the PM as winds bend more WSW/SW. Surf on tap and a few fun waves around if looking to get wet. It is June so would get it while it's here.

Being the closest consistently surfable spot to New York City, Rockaway is the most popular day trip for city surfers. The beach is easily accessible by the city train system.
