Southerly windswell sets up small but rideable knee-thigh high surf.
Better spots may see some peaks around the waist high range. Shape/form not that good but there is enough surf to push a bigger board. Surf stays pretty small with increasing SW shifting SSW winds expected which sets up textured conditions. Best best is around the higher tides. Surf is poor/drained out around the lower tides.

Folly Beach Pier Surf Guide
On average, the waves at Folly Beach Pier are considerably less powerful than whatever’s on tap at the Washout, but probably a bit more powerful than most other South Carolina beachbreaks. Big (but not too big) NE swells will often produce long, occasionally barreling lefts off the south side of the pier. Folly Beach Pier won’t really hold much more than a foot overhead.
