Today

Surf holds today as mix of NW windswell/SSW swell continues. Winds stay onshore, lightest early AM.

Dawn to 10:00AM: Blend of short-period WNW swell and long-period SSW Southern Hemi persists, maintaining chunky shoulder high to a foot overhead waves. Early morning drained by a negative low tide, while manageable SSW winds set up some lump.

Afternoon Outlook: Surf size holds, as moderate+ SW onshore lead to deteriorating conditions.

Not all south swells are created equal. From Bombing Teahupo'o to Massive Wedge, watch the science behind the South Pacific's most remarkable run in decades: https://bit.ly/4xS68hZ
