Small but clean surf early picks up through midday. PM onshore winds remain light.
Mid-period S swell has begin to filter in this morning but is smallest early in the day. With the steep south angle, many spots are not seeing much surf. Look for thigh high waves with bigger sets possible at the better spots that favor the southerly angle. More size shows through midday but target the south exposed spots.
Clean conditions through the morning with offshore W winds. Then some bump and perhaps chop later as they trend light to moderate S'ly.

The three-quarter-mile (1km) stretch of southeast-facing sand is very crowded in and out of the water, with people of varying ability on a mix of surf-craft.
