Sydney Forecast

Today

Strong W winds for the AM - bump of S swell. Arvo sees lighter SW winds and a stronger swell pulse.

A building southerly groundswell will lift exposed beaches into the head-1ft OH high range by the late arvo. South facing breaks have picked up an initial pulse and are seeing some good OH size.

It's clean out there, later these early W winds go SW and ease, improving conditions for most breaks but just watch for a drop in surface quality at the Sth facing breaks as wind trends variable to cross-shore there

Protected Sth corners are offering smaller, more mellow wave and will be clean all day.
