SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS
I got it to practice a different approach to surfing. Living in California, you surf head high beachbreak with a 5'11" every day, so it's nice to open up horizons and see how you can surf a wave a little different -- and still be surfing really well without necessarily "ripping" the wave. It's made me a better surfer -- I look at waves a little different now and get into different parts of the wave.

IDEAL CONDITIONS
Summer days when it's not the best to go out and ride your shortboard.
