Get the heads-up with improved Surf Alerts
We've made updates so that you can add Surf Alerts right from any spot page, with options to be notified the day before, or when your perfect window hits.
Where to find Surf Alerts

To get started, go to any spot page, tap the '+' icon in the top right, select “Add Surf Alert,” and choose the criteria for your notification.
How to use Surf Alerts

When you go to add a Surf Alert for a spot, you can now:
• Add Day Prior notifications to get a heads-up 24 hours before conditions are forecasted to match your criteria.
• Define Surf Windows so you only get notified when the surf is good during the hours you actually can go surf.
Note: To ensure you only get real-time notifications on conditions that actually match your criteria, real-time Surf Alerts are only available at locations with active forecaster observations.

We’re working on more ways to help you find windows in the forecast that match the conditions you like to surf. If you have feedback or thoughts, email us at [email protected].
Find your favorite sessions faster

Your Sessions log now has filters for spot, rating, and date, so you can easily search past surfs — whether you’re reviewing last winter’s best run or checking out what conditions made that one session really work.
Where to find session filters
Go to the Sessions tab, select Sessions, then choose the desired filters to narrow your search.
What’s next
We’re continuing to build on Sessions with more ways to help you track, reflect on, and plan your surfs. Have feedback? Email us at [email protected].
Charts are now on the Explore tab

Charts are now visible right from the Explore tab, making it easier to start your surf check with a broader view of the ocean. Scan wind and swell patterns across regions, then dive into local forecasts and cams.
Where to find Charts
Open Explore, and you’ll see Weather Charts below the Spot map, wave buoy map, and Live Wind map. Tap any chart option to open a full view of ocean conditions.
