LOTUS model improvements

Trust us, no one is more disappointed than our forecasters when the swell doesn’t arrive as predicted. The reality is, there’s a lot more science that goes into the surf forecast than looking at buoys, asking magic 8-balls, consulting psychics, and giving it a solid guess.

Swell graphs, table view, and other UX improvements

You may or may not notice some subtle tweaks to our user interface that help you focus on the data points that matter. These aren’t designed to change your Surfline experience, just improve the way you already use it:

• The toggle to switch between table and graph view is now directly under the day selector on the forecast page for easier access.
• We’ve enhanced the readability of graphs by color-coding swells, to help you differentiate between the swells in the water.
• Various table view readability improvements.
