Tiny surf as S/SE wind slowly eases
Dawn-to-Midday: knee-high surf through the morning hours, the smallest of waves to get a foamy moving. S breeze so the cleanest conditions will be at north-facing breaks.
Afternoon Outlook: no real changes into the afternoon/evening. Flat for most folks. 1ft sets for the groms/foamies and feeling very warm. A beach day for sure but don't expect much surf.

Whitby Beach Surf Guide
The beach at Whitby runs from the town all the way to Sandsend. The harbour end is sheltered during an onshore southeasterly wind. There's a rip that runs next to the wall for an easy paddle out. There can be fun waves here from low to three quarter tide. The sand shifts regularly but it can get excellent. Read more
