Smaller day of waves with old and new SSW swell primary. Clean start, onshore pick up mid-AM.
Dawn to 10am: Clean start with a few little waves to track down. Average zones are knee-waist high and best on the small wave gear. Summer standouts in the region still have some chest high waves in the mix. A little soft/sluggish on the early high tide with a few open corners. Spots with some structure best. A little crumble likely to pick up late AM into midday.
Afternoon Outlook: More lump shows by mid-afternoon, but looks pretty manageable through the end of the day.

One of the most popular beachbreaks in San Diego, the sandbars that form at La Jolla Shores and on either side of Scripps Pier have qualities that augment the beaches to the south.
