Size stays pretty fun as SSW swell sticks around. Best to try and hit the early window.

Dawn-10am: SSW swell sticking around for waist-chest high surf, pushing shoulder-head high for better breaks as summer standouts go a foot or two overhead. Bit more of a tide window early in the AM before shape drains out, likely the best of the day, winds lightest then too.

Afternoon Outlook: It'll be tougher to take advantage of the tide rebound midday as onshores pick up and get lumpy before there's enough water for shape to improve significantly.

Strands Surf Guide

Shifty, often closed out beachbreak. Rarely as good as Salt Creek to the north but always less crowded. Generally prefers shorter period and/or combo swells as long period swells will close out. Read more
